| Feb 13th 2006 Check out Derek's switch stance wave in the end of this video!! Derek Bockelman, Sean Murphy, Vince Alessi and Jaimal Hornbacher surf Dog Beach again. The waves were bigger today, but it was better shape yesterday. We forgot it was a holiday until we got to the beach. Just like the day before, there were at least 40 people surfing. When we came in, some kids that call themselves, "o b rats," had my truck all waxed up! We deserved it showing up with 5 surfers and a camera guy. But its not like there were only a couple of guys in the water... The 40+ person line-up was pretty spread out and mostly a very low skill level. Derek surfs better switch stance than anyone there (besides our crew) could surf in their natural stance. It seemed like most people were having fun and none of us got into any conflicts.
